3/25/07 Water temps still mid to lower 60's. Plenty of fish in very shallow water. And many are on bed. Water color is perfect for my taste with a slight stain. Grass along the river is a little behind last year but will take off with these warm days. I feel some rain would help the fishing as we are 5 inches behind for march.

3/10/07 Spring has sprung for sure. Bass are shallow and water temps moving to the lower 60's. Water color was ideal and the level was still low.

1/9/07 A New year is born and our lake is not going to have a winter. Sure the grass mats are about gone and the coots are have their 3 month feast, but the grass is green and growing. I have never seen this much green grass this time of year and it is not left over. It is new buds of green grass every where. Water temps at 51-53 and quite clear in many places and falling slightly on Saturday. The big bass should be on the move till spawn.
