The fish Stories. Talk about the way you caught them and lures used. Lure pics are very nice if you used something off the wall.

Fished from 330-730pm. has been very hot and dry the last 2 weeks, got up to 96 today. Water was down to 593.7, water temp was 85.
Usual reliable docks didn't produce but this time of year they are now sitting in shade. Fished a hump where I have caught some big ones in the past, with a worm and crank bait, one bite. Moved over to a couple of shallow docks on south side, no bites. Lots of shallow eelgrass there.
Moved to a pocket near mouth of Town creek, found some good milfoil there, and some active miss , but no bites with buzzer, frog and swimbait.
Moved back to a reliable ramp and secondary point, caught a 12"er off the ramp on a worm and a 15"er on a 10" plum worm on the point.

Fished from 3- 7 pm. Water level was 594.1, was 595.2 2 days ago after heavy rains. Water temp was 81-82. Mostly sunny weather, very little wind, water pulling 45,000.

Caught a 13" on a Gambler swim bait on a weighted hood over some scattered milfoil on point leading into Alreds. Hooks and lost a good one, probably about 3 lbs , on a buzzbait with white horney toad trailer over some scattered milfoil around an island near the ramp. Fished on up in Alreds some, no bites. Moved out to humps along the river channel, hooked and lost a small one on a 5XD off the edge of the grass there. No bites on my last spot/point.

Fished from 9-12pm, Saturday. Cloudy cool, breezy all morning. Water level was about 594.1, water temp 63.
Caught 4, 2 were small keepers, on the edge of scattered grass near the mouth of Alreds, two on a chartreuse blue medium running crank, two on a spinnerbait. Lost one keeper on the crank off a mainlake hump on the crank, then caught a 16" keeper on a black buzzbait over some shallow scattered grass in a pocket near the Yacht Club.
