The fish Stories. Talk about the way you caught them and lures used. Lure pics are very nice if you used something off the wall.

Fished from 6:15-11:00AM. Breezy from the SE, about 10mph, which made fishing my favored areas very difficult.
Water temp was 82-85, water level was 594.8, only moving 14,000 this morning.
Caught one runt on a spinnerbait over some milfoil in Polecat. Lost one small keeper on a 1/2 oz Chatterbait over some grass at mouth of Alreds. No other bites up in there.
Caught a 2 1/2 pounder on a cut R worm off a shallow boathouse on south side, then a 14" spot on the same.
Caught a 14" on the Cut-R worm swum over some shallow grass south of Signal Point. Lost one about the same on a black popping frog close to my place.
For early September I will take that.
Plenty of grass on the lower end but less of it topped out than I can ever remember, a lot of it is eelgrass and others that don't top out.

Fished from 330-730pm, after a thunderstorm came thru. Mostly cloudy. Water temp 82. Water level 594.7, dropping to 594.4. Pulling water 43,000

Caught one on a black popping frog, very shallow behind a boathouse close to my place, after I saw it blow up . Caught another 13 " on the same where some hydra grew up against a riprap back.. And that was it. Fished some grassy humps I usually fish, no bites.
