Area Restaurants
I will be coming down Saturday and staying for a week at Kudzu Cove. This is our first trip here and on our fishing trips to other places in the past we have usually found a local place to eat breakfast every morning before hitting the lake. What do you suggest? We also like to try a few different places for dinner through the week. Are there any places we need to make sure we hit? Thanks in advance!

For dinner I like Top of the River and Wentzel's (not as good as original in Mobile, but still pretty darn good).
Re: Area Restaurants
Yup, Top o the river and I like Santa Fe in Albertville. South of G'ville on 431.
My boat is old, My rods aren't pretty. Those things let me fish when I want to.
Re: Area Restaurants
+3 for TOTR. I wish we had a nice little breakfast place around here but I know of none..

Nice places in Scottsboro too, along hwy 72. I Googled it below. I loved Ruby Tuesdays but it has changed format, and I don't like it now. Very pleasant drive along hwy 79 between Guntersville and Scottsboro. bout 14 miles is all and you will see lots of areas on the lake.

Also see this map too at item A, I have heard it is very good not sure if it is still there but worth looking into.

Re: Area Restaurants
Thanks for the info. Top O the River and Santa Fe were both great! If only the fishing were just as good. We have been fishing for two days and have 6 fish between 4 of us. Best one was only 2.8 pounds.
Re: Area Restaurants
Always remember Guntersville is about pattern fishing, most of the time. Always build off the day before. Once you catch a few you should be able to make improvements to it each day producing more and better fish. Providing we do not have abrupt weather changes, like we have this week.
