Going tomorrow

Postby barrya » Thu Jun 13, 2013 2:00 pm

Going to the lake to do some fishing tomorrow. Will likely be in the Honeycomb Creek/ Short Creek areas. Any advice or tips from your recent trips? Haven't been on the lake since April. Thanks. Barry

Top water over grass has been good, as was the spinnerbait and Texas worms. See Video 1, 2 and 5 and 5a for how I love to fish down there. Video 2 was shot around this time. It works so well. I like the two points straight across the main river from Goat island. Caught sever over 5 in there over the years. Good Luck out there, be safe.

Had one of our better days on the lake. We caught 14 with a big fish of 4-12. Caught them on Texas rigged worm, Bomber crankbait and Z-Man Chatterbait in chartreuse. Lost one good one at the boat on the chatterbait. Partner lost 3 on a shakey head at the boat. Caught several of them where Jason was fishing in video #2. They started pulling water about noon and we caught 5 around the barge towers using a crankbait. Thanks for the videos-they were for sure a lot of help. Thanks, Jason. Barry
