Top 30 rules for fishing from the back of the boat....

1 You see that seat up there next to the trolling motor? Yep its mine. This
is not up for debate it's a law of nature. ;)

2 If your fishing in the back of the boat, then fish out of the back of the
boat and stop throwing over my line.

3 I'm running the trolling motor, when you buy a boat I will sit happily in
the back and go where you point it. Until then that's your job.

4 50 mph is not that fast.

5 If you stand up and try to cast under the dock as I'm loading the boat on
the trailer there is a real good chance you are going to fall out.

6 if the lure cost less that $3 then snap it off and retie. I'm not stopping
every 20 feet. (See Rule #24)

7 Do not step on my seats.

8 that rattletrap goes in the water not my back

9 no I don't want to go to a doctor just get the rusty pliers and yank it
out.

10 no I didn't fall out, I just really like to go swimming. I brought my rod
with me in case I saw a fish.

11 it's a well known fact that the starting and trolling battery cant both
be charged at the same time. It's never been done on any boat ever.

12 sorry about hooking you brand new rod on my back cast and slinging it 50
feet in front of us. good thing we both bought one....here's your new rod.

13 gas is $3.50 a gallon, if you want to chip in that would be great.

14 I take you somewhere, you forget where you been. I don't want to catch
you with someone else fishing in my spot, if I do I sink their their boat.

15 yeah I totally meant to leave the plug out. how else am I going to wash
the inside.

16 those switches on the console are mystery switches. It's a mystery as to
which one is going to actually work.

17 I left the fish finders in the truck to make it more challenging.

18 Any pics taken should show nothing in the surroundings but boat and maybe
water. Don't send the pic to your buddies showing the point where were
fishing.

19 I'm not lost - I'm exploring the lake. :?

20 get your own rag and pliers.

21 no, you can go on home and I'll clean and load the boat by myself.

22 Since I am furnishing the boat, gas, and my truck to pull it, yes it
would be nice if you brought cooler with a few cold drinks and snacks.

23 If I get hung, we are trolling to that log to get my lure. :D

24 If you get hung, snap the line. (See Rule #6) :?

25 that motor that takes us everywhere looks better all black rather than
with chipped paint spots all over it...please release your lure higher than
the cowling...it will also cut down on backlashes.

26 If I tell you we are leaving dock at 5:30 am and you get there late and
I am not there waiting on you ,you just missed out. If I am late, well
that's ok and just how it is. ;)

27 If you can't back up a trailer don't lie to me and say that you can and
then jackknife it 20 times before you make it down the ramp.

28 When I invite you on a fishing trip on my boat, don't turn around and
invite someone else to tag along.

29 Don't spill the chartruse dye on my carpet!

I'm guilty of# 25..
My boat is old, My rods aren't pretty. Those things let me fish when I want to.
