6/24/06 Fished the Gambler Lures Only tournament

6/10/06 Spent most of the day Saturday on the water. We caught 19 bass with many between 3 and four pounds but only one slightly over four. Pretty fun day fishing worms mostly swimming and pitching in scattered grass. Few on poppers and spinnerbaits.

5/29/06 Couple Short trips over the holiday and they where slow. Couple hours Saturday yielded only one 5 pounder. A short trip Sunday afternoon brought up a five and a 4.5 for a friend of mine and I had zip. Started to make him swim home. I stuck his picture in the gallery.

5/20/06 Had another short trip Saturday and things were much slower. Managed 3 fish all between 3 and 4 pounds. One came on a spinnerbait and the other two swimming a lizard. Summer is here so be prepared and drink your water before you get thirsty.

5/13/06 Wow, I got to go fishing and this time the fish showed up as well. I was only able to fish till 9AM Saturday as I had a ball game to go watch at noon. Action was fast as I caught 11 bass with 3 right around 5lbs. All came on spinnerbaits in 5 foot deep grass. Spring ball will be over soon and I have had a lot of fun as a proud father. However, I do want to fish too so maybe the time is near. Thanks for reading

4/6/06 Sorry, I have not been of the water a lot. I guess I enjoy being a Daddy as much as fishing. Tell me that ten years ago and I would have said you are crazy.

4/1/06 Caught 4 bass all over ten pounds on a brown rooster tail in 46 feet of water. April Fools

Truth - Got out for a day of fishing Saturday and managed five fish. Four keepers and one at 3.7. Not bad, I do hope to get out there and build off of this. All came on Carolina rig lizards in shallow water, fished very slow.

1/29/06 And a new year has come 29 days after the real new year came. Oh well, if you are reading this you are thinking one of two things.

1) This guy never updates this web sit, or

2) You are thinking, typical Jason, on and off the water but I know he will give out good tips for his loyal visitors.

I have not had much time to plan any trips. Everything is busy and no end in site. I will still post some results as I can, Thanks all!

01/30/06 If you picked either one then a new year has started. But I struggled my fist day. Fished all day and did a lot of scouting. Not a good enough excuse however, cause I was bite-less today. Wind blew steady and for the first time in many years, my first day of the year was zippola.
